Working Principle:

The externally mounted argon-blowing locking device, also known as a replaceable device, is typically installed at the bottom of the ladle. It can also be installed on the side of the ladle in special circumstances (primarily for side-blowing). A metal hose connects the air brick to a steel pipe with a quick-connect connector fixed to the ladle. The argon source and ladle are quickly connected via the metal hose with a quick-connect connector, making replacement easy.
Externally mounted air bricks are generally suitable for applications where the life of the ladle cannot be kept up with the ladle’s, particularly for refining ladles. They facilitate rapid ladle turnover and reduce the need for ladle repairs.

4. A dedicated seal is designed at the end of the argon gas connection of the air core to prevent air leakage and molten steel penetration.
