Working Principle:

The tundish sizing nozzle quick-change mechanism primarily consists of a base, guide plates, guard plates, and corresponding refractory materials. The left and right guide plates form a slideway for the nozzle. Springs are installed on either side of the nozzle. The spring pressure is transmitted through the guide plates to the nozzle, ensuring a tight fit between the working surfaces of the upper and lower nozzles. The sizing nozzle is powered by a hydraulic cylinder and slides along the guide plate slideway, enabling smooth and rapid nozzle replacement.

1. The mechanism enables multiple, online, rapid replacement of the sizing nozzle without stopping the tundish casting process, extending its lifespan.
2. The nozzle aperture can be changed online to adjust the molten steel flow rate to match the casting speed of the continuous casting machine, ensuring synchronization between steelmaking and continuous casting.
3. If the tundish casting process is stopped or an accident occurs, the flow can be shut off by replacing the upper blind plate.
